"I feel like Jacey goes through pajamas faster than other clothing."
"I would have less cat hair in the dryer's lint catcher if there wasn't an actual cat in the dryer all the time."
"I need to find something to throw at the cat for scratching at the carpet when hungry in the morning....maybe that slipper."
"I can't believe my leg still feels numb and bruised since the accident."
"Where are all these bugs coming from? Eventually, I have to have killed them all!"
"I really don't like all these drink things in my room but it seems to be a necessary evil."
"I have to pick my battles. And today, Emma's underwear always being caught up in her pants, in the laundry, is not the battle I wish to fight."

Emma's facebook moments and other precious moments
**Emma puts herself to bed, buckles herself in, clean up after her messes with out being told, entertains herself but still WILL NOT pee in a potty. ARRRGGG
**Most mornings Emma greets me in the morning with a blanket or stuffed animal and we snuggle in bed together for a while. THIS morning she greeted me with her pool noodle lol she came up to me and said "did you sleep?" which is how she asks if I slept good.
**First thing Emma said this morning when she woke up "do you see the monkey?" and then looked out the window as if she had seen one. Hippos and monkeys are her usual nightmares. She must have dreamed about one
**My daughter thinks my dance moves are fantastic!
**Is anyone interested in raising Emma? She just completely out witted me and I did not see it coming. I fear she will surpass me any day.
**Half way into watching the devil wears prada Emma asked me to change her into a skirt. Few minutes later she went back to her room and came back with some high heel shoes with black feathers on them and she's standing in front of the TV copying all the models. 2 years old, she's so observant and susceptible.
**My suspicions have been confirmed. I can not walk a non-leash trained dog while pushing Emma in the stroller.
**Emma heard a noise outside today and got all excited and asked if it was daddy. I said it wasn't and she looked at me funny and said "did you hear it?" I said yes I heard it but its not daddy. Poor thing
**I told Emma not to mess with the dog stuff and she went to mess with it anyway so I said "Emma, are you going to listen to me?" and she said in a whisper "no"
**Well Emma loves curious George
**First thing Emma said when I got her up at 0500 this morning to take daddy to his ship: "hi mowg." and "where's daddy?"
**Well Jason is mowing the lawn and Emma is eating peas. Everyones doing something productive. I guess I'll go get pics of my pond plans
**Watching Merlin makes me happy. And Emma is combing my hair with a quarter lol
Other precious moments:
** Cuddling with Emma in her bath towel after a bath. She likes to snuggle in the towel and we rock and sing ** Emma feeding me popcorn and then gives me a kiss ** Emma goes and gets a blanket from her room, then brings it to where I'm at and either sits next to me or on my lap and wraps the blanket around her legs and snuggles. ** Eating popcorn together out of the same bowl on my lap * * Showering together...she's shy of the water coming down on her head so she clings tight to me and I love the skin to skin connection * * Comforting her in the middle of the night when she wakes up crying (unusual for her) and she falls back asleep in my arms and on my chest
Rabbit Cage Treasures
Emma used to throw things in our fish tank. Eventually I just got rid of the fish tank. The other day I brought the rabbit inside and put him in a new indoor cage. As it turns out, Emma hadn't out grown her fish tank tendencies. She put the following items in the rabbit cage in the time that he was in the house:
3 blankets, her pillow, her little broom, Christmas Carol (Scrooge) tape, instructions to her leap top, my work shoes, a movie and the remote control to my portable DVD player.
I am a single mother of two amazingly beautiful and intelligent daughters. This blog is my story as a mother, things I've felt or done; moments I don't want to forget. My desire is for my girls to read it someday to see how much I loved them along the way through what ever amazing or hard time we were going through.
